Who really leaves a Jeep stock?

Now I know Jeeps already come nice from the factory but lets be honest… Who really leaves them stock? Now like I’ve mentioned before, I’m no mechanic but I thought I would dive into the world of Jeep modification anyway. There are so many aftermarket items available for these things 99.9% of everything is bolt-on unless you plan on getting crazy with it. I figured I would keep it minimal because as of now I haven’t really entered the real world of off-roading, though I would like to in the future. Not to mention my tools and knowledge are lacking to say the least.

I decided on 31”s and a 2” lift because it was the safest and easiest way…. More importantly the whole driveshaft angle scares me and I don’t think it’s needed with this smaller setup. In hindsight I probably should have went with 33”s but we are past that point now.

Stock before picture

Stock height, rims and tires…. Needs a little help!

Amateur at work… Amazon (Chinese) tools seem to work well for my needs. Notice a sneak peak of the bumper and rear tire carrier! (Newman sighting)

New front bumper, probably should have went for one with a winch option but I digress.

Looking a tad more aggressive, very Jeep’ish. (Newman hiding in the background)

Rear end as they say.

Front end with additional grill inserts.

Before and after, progress made. Wish I would have gone with 33’s.
